Ruined Reputation?

With all attention on the NKF vs SPH case and old Mr Durai. I would like to share my sympathy to our beloved SM Goh. After what his dear wife commented to the case...

Mrs Goh Chok Tong's reaction to this issue:

"After the hearing, Mrs Goh was asked by reporters what she thought about the way the case went.She said it did not make sense to her to attack an organisation which helped the sick. All the NKF wanted was a retraction, she said, but the case had been extended to question NKF's transparency and "expensive things"."Why make a fuss out of it?" she asked.She said she would continue as patron and added: "I have complete trust in the NKF and Mr Durai."Asked if Mr Durai's annual salary and bonus were 'excessive', she replied: "For a person who runs a multi-million-dollar charitable organisation, $600,000 is peanuts as it has a few hundredmillions in reserves."

Oh well, everyone are entitled to their opinions, but not when you are some respectable character's wife and making such "silly" comments?

I am considering cancelling my monthly donations too...but how ah? Anyone can help?

On the latest news, another two servicemen just died during one of the exercise training. What a bad term for SAF. Ever since the high profile incident of the commandos, there have since been lots of death events, be it sudden death or those who died during trainings...
