italkingcock: 23rd Birthday!

Ok, last entry was written on the spur of moment. =)

I am still in a daze after the unexpected crowded celebration by Eguanas Family yesterday midnight...

Alright let me clear my mind after a day of 6 hours lessons...

I personally feel that birthday is a day to joy and woe...

The reason to be jolly? Guess it's obvious...

1. Be happy that you are still living and able to live past your birthday!
2. Count your blessings that you are given a chance to experience life.
3. Be thankful that you have family and friends who remember this special day =)

As for the reasons to be worried?

1. Even though you have many friends around you, somehow you have this feeling that they may just forget about this day. Don't know about you, but I always have this feeling.
2. You are getting old. Especially so for those who have reached adulthood. That means more responsibilities and worries coming up.
3. Get saboed!? Especially if you have crazy friends in hall...heng I have great and sane friends :P

Talking about that, still remember I was pinning some hope in having a tennis racket as a birthday gift a few days ago. However, just a few days ago while shopping around in queensway, when I saw the big price tags on some of the rackets, I started to feel bad and worried. I feel bad as I made such atrocious demand on my last last entry and worried as I am sort of afraid my friends would really buy it and the same goes to not buying :P

Nevertheless, this great family in Hall really made my dream comes true. It's an outrageous request and yet they fulfilled it for me!!! Thank You everyone! Everyone who chipped in that money (I really hope it's not a lot for you guys...) into buying that super duper nice racket for me! I promise the racket is for public use (for that I mean to those who shared the gift =) ), so feel free to borrow from me when you want a game of tennis at E block tennis court k! Wahaha Yes, you didn't see wrongly, it's E block's tennis court! Let me take this opportunity to thank the following dudes and babes who contributed to the bueautiful racket:

Just when you thought that's all for the night!? Let me say all the celebration and planning started from my Dearest Baby jL! I don't know how accurate is this, but Ron told me jL came up with all the ideas and stuffs...THANK YOU BABY! You've been great to me! I truly appreciate this birthday not because of all the gifts you have given to me but because I am able to celebrate my birthday with you and so many friends =D

That's not all! She handmade this beautiful "lamp" for me! With a nice shape of X'mas lightings Heart Shape~ Sweet. And yes, that's not all! She spent another huge amount on a crumpler sling bag for me! It's really trendy, nice and compact! Ever thought of only boyfriends spend on girlfriends? My Baby can prove you real wrong! I Love you jL!

The day was followed by wishes from all over my network of friends. From my closest primary school classmate to my primary school crush then to secondary school's last relationship affair!
And also from Flings to Financial Planner! Most friends somehow remember my birthday this year! Really Really sweet of them. I promise I must remember my friends birthday better from now on. If not by brain also must be keyed into my new phone. Lost most anniversary dates as my old phone was traded in. Thank You everyone! I truly enjoyed my 23rd. More so than any other birthdays I think (maybe on par with 21st? Coz I was dunked into the pool back then! Stupid Gerald Cho with his Co. - eh you never wish me this year!)
